World Arts Celebration
May 19th, 4pm-8pm, City Center at Oyster Point, Newport News
Explore over thirty cultures from around the world at City Center at Oyster Point. A stroll around the fountain will transport you through a curated world tour of hands-on exhibits, art demonstrations, entertainment and culinary delights to tantalize your senses.
Salute to Summer
May 25th – 27th, 8pm-10:45pm, VB Boardwalk, Virginia Beach
Salute to Summer is an unabashed "Star-Spangled" salute to great music, fun in the sun, and the men and women of the military who have sacrificed their lives throughout our history. Enjoy free entertainment on three outdoor stages featuring live music by local and regional bands.
Blackbeard Pirate Festival
June 2nd – 3rd, 10am-10pm/12pm-6pm, Downtown Hampton
Led by Blackbeard the Pirate himself, dozens of pirate re-enactors help visitors step back in time and re-live the history and legends of 1718 Hampton. The Festival offers a variety of children's activities, live musical entertainment, fireworks, period vendors, arts and crafts, and much more!
Norfolk Harborfest
June 8th – 10th, 12pm-11pm/10am-6pm, Town Point Park, Norfolk
Come enjoy a weekend packed with activities on land and see to include tall ships and the Parade of the Sail, food and beverages, performances, and one of the largest fireworks shows on the East Coast.
Sounds of Summer Concerts
Thursdays in June, 7pm-9:30pm, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown
Enjoy some of the area's top acts playing beach favorites, Motown, disco, funk, R&B, Pop & more. Make sure you wear comfy shoes for dancing. And bring the kids. This is a fun event for the whole family!
