Management Team

Eugene M. Jordan, II, Esquire, President & CEO

Gene has over 30 years of estate planning and fiduciary law experience. Gene holds a BA from North Carolina Wesleyan College, Certificate of Trust Management and Juris Doctor from Campbell University. He is a past president of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council and a current member. Gene serves as a member, Director, or Trustee of several civic and charitable organizations.

C. Kay Alligood, Senior Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer

Kay has over 40 years experience in the financial service industry, with 31 of those years in the trust and wealth management sector. She manages the personal trust division and is a graduate of Cannon Trust School and Cannon Personal Trust Advanced Administration School. She is a member of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council.

 

 

Administration Team

Toni D. Dean, CPA, Vice President & Chief Tax Officer

Toni has over 30 years of experience in tax preparation and tax counseling. She holds a B.A. in accounting from North Carolina State University. As a Certified Public Accountant, her primary focus is on individual and fiduciary taxation. Toni is an honor graduate of Cannon Trust Tax School.

Michelle Whittington, CSOP, Vice President & Trust Operations Officer

Michelle has over 20 years of investment management and trust operations experience. She is a Certified Securities Operations Professional. She attended Cannon Financial Institute and earned her certifications in Trust Securities and Trust Operations. She is a graduate of the Cannon Securities Graduate Program. She has attended various AIB classes and seminars.

 

 

Business Development Team

Sandra R. Stewart, CTFA, AEP,  Senior Vice President & Business Development Officer

Sandy has over 35 years of experience in the Trust & Wealth Management industry. She is a graduate of Cannon Trust School and the National Graduate Trust School. Sandy holds a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation. Sandy is a member of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council.

Dee Burcher,  Marketing & Development Officer

Dee has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. She assists with the business development efforts of the company which include directing the marketing activities of Old Point Trust. Dee also directs company training efforts to increase awareness of company services. She and her family are lifelong residents of the Peninsula.

 

Investments Team

McKim Williams, Jr., Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer 

McKim has over 20 years of investment and portfolio management experience. In addition to overseeing our investment research and portfolio management, he also writes our Quarterly Investment Commentary. McKim attained both his B.A. and M.B.A. from The College of William & Mary and has attained Bloomberg Certification for both Equity and Fixed Income. He currently serves on the Board of St. Andrew's Episcopal School and is a member of the Economics Club of Hampton Roads.

Lars E. Lassen, CFP®Investment Officer

Lars has over 10 years of experience in investment and portfolio management. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary, and holds a Master of Trust and Investment Management from Campbell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Lars also attended the Southeastern Trust School. He is a CERITIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, and has attained the Bloomberg® Certification for Equity, Fixed Income, FX, and Commodities. Lars is active in the community and has served on various boards and committees.

 

Relationship Managers - Personal Trust Team

S. Patricia Meir, CTFA, Vice President & Relationship Manager

Tricia has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with 16 of those years in the wealth management arena. She graduated with honors from Cannon Trust School and has a B.S. in Finance and a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor designation. Tricia is a member of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council.

Robert T. Cowling, CLU, Vice President & Relationship Manager

Rob has over 35 years experience in the financial services industry. He is a member and Past President of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council and also the Society of Financial Service Professionals-Peninsula Chapter. He is a Graduate of Cannon Trust School, and a Chartered Life Underwriter.

Natalie D. Gill, CTFA, Vice President & Relationship Manager

Natalie has over 10 years of experience in the Trust and Wealth Management industry. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Certificate of Trust Management from Campbell University. Natalie also completed the American Bankers Association National Trust School and National Graduate Trust School and has the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor certification. She is also a member of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council.

Bern A. Glasser, Trust Specialist

Bern has 3 years of experience in the financial service industry. He graduated with honors from Guilford College. In May 2013, he graduated Old Point National Bank's Management Training Program and joined Old Point Trust. Bern is currently enrolled at Cannon Financial Institute to earn the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor certification. Bern is active in the community, serving on the Board of the Virginia Air & Space Center Opportunity Program, and volunteering frequently with several other civic and charitable organizations.

 

Retirement Services Team - Old Point Trust

Kyle W Dunigan, CPC, QPA, QKA, Retirement Services Officer

Kyle has nearly 10 years of experience in retirement operations, including retirement plan administration and consulting experience. He is a graduate of ECPI College of Technology with an Associates in IT/Networking Administration. He holds his CPC, QPA and QKA designations with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and he regularly attends various continuing education seminars sponsored by ASPPA and Corbel.

Roseanna Blackham, Retirement Services Specialist

Roseanna has been a part of the Old Point Team for over 15 years. Specializing in the Retirement Services area, she handles all aspects in the recordkeeping of 401(k) plans and Profit Sharing from inputting the census to producing the 5500's.

Becky J. Nicholas, CPC, Senior Vice President & Managing Director

Becky has over 30 years of experience in the qualified plan area. She is a course instructor for the ASPPA Qualified Pension Administrator's Program, as well as the Retirement Plans course for the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist  Program. She has given numerous presentations to various professional financial and accounting organizations. Becky is an associate member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Deborah W. Henry, CPC, ERPA, Vice President 

Debbie brings over 25 years of experience to retirement plan administration. She is an associate member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and an enrolled Retirement Plan Agent through the IRS. In an effort to keep on the cutting edge of of the industry, Debbie regularly attends various continuing education seminars sponsored by ASPPA and Corbel.

Maureen J. Ringo, CPC, ERPA, Vice President 

Maureen brings over 20 years of service to the team. She is an associate member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and an enrolled Retirement Plan Agent through the IRS. Maureen helps coordinate plan design, implementation, and education for clients.
